IN MEMORY OF A GREAT DOG,
A FRIEND AND AN INSPIRATION!
‘BALLOO’ ~ Anbarees Bair Necessaties For Libertia
Bugene Devils Advocate For Kalyle X Who Dares Wins For Anbarees
Balloo, a son of the famous Bair, came from our friend Ann Sutton of Anbarees Kennels England. He was not only a fantastic ambassador for the breed in Ireland, but he was our inspiration to set up the Dogue de Bordeaux Club Of Ireland, and in turn he has inspired many people to own Bordeaux’s, adored by those who met him, he will always be remembered for the outstanding character and friend he was!

Matrix was known as the cheeky chap in our kennels, a Dogue full of personality who let everyone know about it! He sadly passed away in 2009.
He was one of the most outstanding and influential sires within Ireland, his stamp clearly put onto his offspring. He was a gentle Giant amongst this breed with a exceptional temperament that shone through at every opportunity especially when introduced to new people or youngsters, a quality he easily passed on to his own progeny .
Matrix was a superb male and like his champion father he offered excellent qualities
to his offspring in both type and personality. His progeny have had much success
within the show-
On personality alone Matrix is missed everyday and we thank him for what he has given us especially the memories that we will treasure for an eternity!

Poppy so called because of her blond colour... In humour we decided to give her some colour hence her name. Sadly missed, she was the matriarch of our kennels never a word just a look, it was always just enough for both the males and other females in our kennels.
She was a Daddy’s girl a wonderful female with an excellent sense of humour and could read people from a great distance! Like her father Balloo showing was not what she enjoyed, unless it was to show off at home.
Poppy for a while visited Scotland staying with our friends Angela & Janice of Tartuffe who have both her daughter Sorcha (the foundation of their DDB family) and granddaughters, it was whilst living with her they discovered where many of their dogues personality and excellent temperament traits came from.
Thank you Poppy for the wonderful legacy you have left us all.
